TRAINEE PROGRAM

“Where dancers become skilled in unconventional ministry.”

The trainee program is further training of already Christ committed, technically advance dancers who desire to dance professionally and minister effectively nationally and internationally. Applicants will be accepted by audition only. The Trainee Program takes place 5 days a week in LWB’s 4,800 square foot facility. Trainees are trained in dance technique as well as evangelism and discipleship.

The schedule consists of ministry training, Bible study, technique, pointe, conditioning, teaching skills, rehearsal, and performance. The trainee program is generally 2 years long and is a 10 month commitment (Sept-June) each year. Once trainees have completed the 2 years of training, they will be considered for promotion to an apprenticeship position with the company. Trainees may be given the opportunity to travel with Light of the World Ballet Company on overseas outreach trips.
