Christians for Syracuse will have a booth at the Westcott Street Cultural Fair next Sunday, September 26, 2021.

LWB will be a part of the parade 12-12:30pm. They will present in front of the booth on Dell Street (more info below) 1:30pm and 2:30pm 

Several thousand people from the greater Syracuse community attend this event each year, which presents a diversity of booths and activities.  The booths and stages showcase artisans and their crafts, community resources, musical talents, and a variety of foods and beverages.  

In 2017, after much prayer, Christians for Syracuse was led to apply for a booth at the fair to bring Christ and His message into this well-publicized, well-attended event. Our application was accepted, and CFS has had a booth every year since then.

At the CSF booth we offer free Bibles, Christian literature, tracts, talent with a gospel message, and opportunities for fair-goers to request prayer and engage in conversation about Christianity and what it means to have a personal relationship with Christ. We also offer free Scripture tea bags, and “Smile, Jesus Loves You” balloons.  

This year, Light of the World Ballet will be presenting gospel-focused dances on the street in front of our booth (1:30 and 2:30pm), and giving testimonies. Jim Livi, The Christian Bubble Man, will be creating huge bubbles as he shares the gospel.  We will also have some “magic tricks” that will be performed with a gospel message intertwined. We’ll also have people dressed as Bible characters for fun photo opportunities.

If anyone with a heart for Christian outreach wants to spend an hour or more at our booth as part of the prayer team, or handing out literature, tea bags or balloons, (anytime between the hours of noon and 6:30 PM), we would love to have additional volunteers. Or, if you have a crowd gathering talent that also illustrates the gospel, we would also welcome your contribution to our booth.
